Sammi's Best - Recipes Beverages - Frozen Banana Smoothie
Heart Healthy-Sammi's Best-Soy/Whey
Ingredients:

4 cups filtered water

2 tbsp loose leaf tea (earl grey/orange pekoe, etc.) or tea bags

1 cinnamon stick or powdered cinnamon to taste

4 cardamom pods, lightly crushed to break pod

4 thin slices peeled, fresh ginger (or dash of powdered)

7 or 8 black, pink or white peppercorns

Sweeten to taste

Fennel seed (optional)

1 cup Sammi's Best Soy or Soya-Rice reconstituted
Preparation:

Boil water in a saucepan. Add spices and simmer 5 to 6 minutes.
Add tea and steep for 1 to 2 minutes. Strain.
Heat Sammi's Best Soy or Soya-Rice reconstituted separately but do not boil.
Sweeten soymilk to taste.
Add strained tea to Sammi's Best Soy or Soya-Rice reconstituted.
Stir and serve in warm cups. Drink and enjoy.
You can use your imagination with the spices and the tea. Different combinations yield different taste sensations. Treat yourself and use fresh ginger rather than powdered. It adds a freshness that is really delightful.
